Kubota Tractors - A Brief History

Kubota Tractors have been around here in the US since 1969, when Kubota began exporting its 21hp L200 from Japan.
In 1972, Kubota Tractor Corporation was created, & based in Torrance, California.
In 1988, Kubota decided to open a manufacturing plant in Gainesville, Georgia, called Kubota Manufacturing of America. Originally producing front end loader & backhoe implements for imported Kubota Tractors, they then went on to produce other items such as utility vehicles & lawn & garden tractors.
In 2006, the production of front end loader & backhoe implements was moved to a new location near Jefferson, Georgia, named Kubota Industrial Equipment. This location was already preparing the B, L, & M Series Kubota Tractors from Japan, ready for Kubota Tractor Corporations dealerships in central, northern & southeast USA.
